Georgia KOUVELA is a leading French lawyer qualified also in Athens, Greece, practicing French and Greek law since 1996 based in Paris. Georgia together with her French law firm partner Mr Phillippe Nathan Brami (dually qualified in Montreal and in Paris), is leading our associate flourishing French legal practice composed of partners and collaborators with dual international qualifications, who are highly qualified, trilingual with diverse expertise, enabling us to meet the complex legal needs of clients across various sectors by providing strategic and personalized legal advice.
With expertise in private international law, Georgia together with her French associates practice business law with an international focus on both France and Greece. They are legal advisors , among others, to French and Greek companies, as well as to international organizations, the Embassy of Greece, the Embassy of Cyprus, the Hellenic Representation to UNESCO, the Hellenic Tourism Office in France etc. Their areas of expertise include corporate litigation (both judicial and arbitration) as well as consulting and strategic support for businesses and individuals whose activities are concentrated in the commercial, transportation, energy, real estate, luxury goods, tourism, and construction sectors. In addition they represent and assist companies before both French and Greek courts and engage in mediation and arbitration.
Georgia also teaches constitutional law and international relations law at the University of Lille II and the Catholic University of Lille and international contract law at prestigious business and management schools, particularly in MBA programs in Management and Business Law at the Ecole Supérieure de Gestion (Paris), in the MBA in Business Law at ESG (Paris), and in International Arbitration and Mediation in the specialized MBA in International Business Law at NEW YORK COLLEGE (Athens and Lausanne).
